Throughout the past few weeks, we have been planning our additional shots to improve to our trailer. We decided to film this Saturday, so that in this week's lessons we can plan our other products, being a poster and a magazine front cover, so that we can take photos on the day of our filming. Below, on the storyboard video, are the pictures that we will be shooting on Saturday to add to our trailer. We either altered ideas that we already had, such as the running scene, with the close up of the feet, or created new ideas. We watched a range of trailers to get an idea on typical conventions, and expand our knowledge on the genre, so that we could achieve these ideas. For example, we watched a trailer where there were a range of quick shots of a man becoming increasingly scared and looking possessed, we adapted these ideas to fit our trailer; such as we are going to make the end of our trailer appear darker and faster, this will be achieved by speeding the shots up as they play and the music will help create a more tense and climatic feel.
